LUXURY SAFARI GLAMPS THAT SLEEP UP TO EIGHT
Our three luxuriously appointed safari glamps are located a short walk from the parking area and cart trolleys are provided to transport your luggage up to your glamp. Luggage assistance can be provided if you wish. Each glamp has underfloor insulation, to avoid all draughts through the decking and the glamps have been named after some local residents that you may even see or hear during your stay! A large herd of deer can regularly be seen in the valley below. Choose between Hare’s Hide, Deer’s Rest both with their own hot tub or Owl’s Den with twin outdoor baths. Each glamp is beautifully handmade and offers the perfect setting for your rural escape. All beds come with thick duvets, spare blankets and hot water bottles. There’s a fully equipped country style kitchen with a double gas hob (with free refill gas bottles if you run out), including an additional ESSE log-burning oven with two hot plates and a small fridge freezer. Private luxury bathroom, (shower room, toilet and sink) with a cosy open plan living area. The wood-burning ESSE stove is the heart of the glamp for both cooking and warmth and keep the living area warm. During the winter months, hot water bottles provided, help to keep you warm and snug in bed. Take your holiday outdoors with a choice of on-deck dining and relaxing or sit on our hand made wooden benches around the BBQ fire pit, toasting marshmallows.
Swedish cedarwood log-burning hot tub or double outdoor baths!
Relax in your exclusive use hot tub whilst watching the sun rise in the valley and over the moors in the distance – a really magical experience! Your en-suite hot tub is located on your own private deck in Hare’s Hide and Deer’s Rest, whilst Owl’s Den has traditional double Antique Cast Iron Bath tubs, for an indulgent soak under the stars!

Providing the comforts of a boutique hotel, hot and cold water system is available at all times. Each safari glamp does have electric lights with dimmer switches but to create the authentic ‘glamping’ mood, you will be given three rechargeable lanterns to be used inside or outside when wandering from ‘The Cow Shed’ to your glamp or even just for exploring. As we are based in the heart of a working farm community, we ask that guests remain on footpaths when exploring the local area, to avoid disturbing farm animals.
Glamping in style
Outside each of the safari glamps, we offer the wonderful addition of three permanent hammocks for lazing in the sun and handmade outdoor stone fire pits with seating for an authentic campfire eating and BBQ experience. Relax in style on either of your private deck areas with loungers and dining furniture, or immerse in your surroundings. Under each safari glamp, you will find a giant blackboard for your kids to enjoy, and other things for them to discover, for the occasional rainy day. For those who want to mix, there is a swing and slide for children at the top of the site.
Equally lovely… all slightly different
Hare’s Hide – situated at the highest point of the site. Sleeps up to 8 (in 3 rooms) with a king size master bedroom, 2 x single bunks bedroom and king size cabin bed. On the back deck is your own private wood-fired, cedar wood hot tub. On the front deck is a rattan furniture set and two wooden loungers which you can move to the back deck if you prefer. Outside are your three hammocks and the fire pit with surround seating and swivel grilling plate so you can BBQ outdoors if you wish. For the children, underneath the glamp, is their very own blackboard and chalk, so they can be creative while you can simply relax.
Deer’s Rest is the most regal safari glamp and sleeps up to 8 (in 3 rooms.) A king size four poster bed adorns the master bedroom, with 2 single beds + 2 extra pull out beds and finally a king size cabin bed. This tent also has the luxury of your exclusive-use, wood-fired, cedar wood hot tub on the back deck. On the front deck is a rattan furniture set and two wooden loungers which you can move to the back deck if you prefer. Owl’s Den – has an outside star-gazing experience not to be missed….a romantic evening with your partner or a gossip with the girls over Prosecco – the two Antique Cast Iron Bath tubs situated to the left of the deck are a must experience. An oversize hot water immersion tank is a unique feature in Owl’s Den for the baths. Sleeps up to 8 (in 3 rooms) with a king size master bedroom, with 2 single beds + 2 extra pull out beds and a king size cabin bed.
