Drive up the long drive and at the top turn right and you will arrive in the yard. You will see your parking space marked out opposite ‘The Cow Shed’.
Option 2: (longer than option 1, but more motorway and dual carriageway and less Devon lanes). Take junction 31 off the M5 onto the A30. Follow this dual carriageway and after approx 12 miles take the exit signposted Cheriton Bishop. Head into the town and at the top of the main street take a right hand turn towards Yeoford just before the shop on the right. After a couple of miles on a sharp corner you will see Three Gates Crossroads. Take a left hand turn. Follow the road for 2 miles and you will arrive at a ford. Cross the ford and turn immediately right. Follow the lane up the hill and at the top at Binneford Cross turn right. After 100 yards you will see a triangle of grass on the left with an Oak Tree on it which is called Great Heale Cross. Turn left down the road marked a dead end and at the bottom of the hill is the entrance to Troney Valley Escapes on the right. Drive up the long drive and at the top turn right and you will arrive in the yard. You will see your parking space marked out opposite ‘The Cow Shed’.

5.0 Dogs are welcome. A maximum of 2 dogs per glamp
5.0.1 Although we require dogs to be kept on a lead while onsite, the 3 acre paddock right next door to Troney Valley Escapes, accessible from the gate at the top of our site, is ideal for letting your dogs run freely off the lead.
5.1 As this is a working farm with poultry, cattle, rabbits, hares etc.. Please ensure that your dogs are ALWAYS on a lead and they can only be walked on the lead within the glamp field, Cow Shed area and the driveway. Dogs can be let off their leads along Two Moors Way which passes by the bottom of the main driveway, over the bridge and turning right will take you up the Two Moors Way. Please note, that for the first 200 metres Two Moors Way is a road before turning onto the track, where dogs can be let off their leads. As this is a child friendly site and the grass cut at the end of season for cattle feed, you MUST pick up after your dogs. Poo bags will be available in the shop if you forget to bring your own and these should be placed in the general waste bin near the silo AND NOT hung on hedges or gates please.
5.2 Please can you ensure that your dogs DO NOT sleep on the beds or sofas and that they sleep on the floor anywhere within the glamp on their own beds.
5.3 Dogs CANNOT be left unattended in the glamps, unless in a crate. We do have a secure dog gate, that can be latched across the top of the steps on the decking of the glamp, so dogs can be secure on the top deck.
5.4 At both ends of ‘The Cow Shed’ there are clean troughs where the dogs can drink or their water bowls be filled.
6.0 Noise, behaviour and the coronavirus
6.1 We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 11pm and before 8am while staying in the glamps, in consideration of others. If you are inside our activity barn, the Cow Shed, please could you keep any noise to a minimum after 1am inside the barn, in consideration of others. Please ensure that any music is played at a reasonable level and any noise must be kept within an appropriate level bearing in mind other parties staying.
6.2 We reserve the right to ask any persons to leave the premises and their holiday ended with immediate effect during their stay in the event that a Guest’s behaviour impacts upon the reasonable enjoyment and/or use of the site by other Guests or the owners. This includes any excessive disturbance (to include loud music, raucous/threatening behaviour, dangerous or any illegal activity). No refunds will be given under these circumstances.

9.0 Website
9.1 All information provided on our website is accurate to the best of our knowledge – we are not liable for any information outside of our control that becomes incorrect but are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
10.0 General Safety at Troney Valley Escapes
10.1 We have running hot water. As it is heated by an immersion, there is limited capacity, so please be aware that you will need it to refill and heat. In an effort to save energy, please do not let the taps run freely. The hot water is also VERY hot, so please be aware.
10.2 As you know this is a working farm, so please be mindful when driving from the site down the driveway. The Geese, chickens and children!! are often meandering along the pathways.
10.3 Often there will be sheep and cows in the field to the left as you drive to the glamping site, please be aware that the fencing along side this field will be switched on, therefore please DO NOT TOUCH as you will get a shock!!!
10.4 We have barbed wire fencing along most of the fields to stop animals escaping, Please do NOT climb the hedges or gates as the barbed wire is often hidden in the undergrowth.
10.5 There is a large water trough at the bottom of the glamping field. Please be aware that this is always full of water, and do feel free to take a dip on a very hot day. However, please ensure that children are supervised at all times and it is NOT DRINKING WATER, as although it is not used for farm animals, birds and the like, like to use it. You may however see a goldfish or two.
10.6 We have a very steep bank that isn’t fenced leading up to the steps to the entrance of the glamping field. There is signage highlighting the area, but just to be cautious when walking from the field down the track to the ‘Cow shed’ at night. We always suggest carrying one of the portable lanterns when moving around the site in the dark.
10.7 The ‘Wellie Washer’ trough to the right hand side of the ‘Cow Shed’ and the tap at the other end where you can wash your cars, next to the silo is NOT drinking water. Please do not use for anything than washing your wellies or cars. As we do not want you to ruin your trip with a poorly tummy.
10.8 In ‘The Cow Shed’ we have a dart board and darts. The darts are kept high enough out of reach of little people. Please ensure that when you have finished playing that you return them to the dart holder to the side of the cabinet.
10.9 When emptying any of the fires (cooker, hot tub or fire pit) – please make sure that you transport the COLD ASHES in metal buckets to the Food Composter at the bottom of the field and NOT in the recycling and main bins.
